vision

We are about getting people together and enjoying each other’s company. Through positive relationships we can stretch our impact beyond the walls of our cafe and into the larger community. At Corner Market, we strive to improve the lives of our guests, serve the Ottawa community, and promote a common humanity.

origin

Corner Market began when a couple of life long Ottawa neighbors got together and identified that their community was missing something - a place to gather over hot coffee, great food and classic cocktails.

atmosphere

Corner Market is a warm, casual space designed to serve a variety of needs: a quick morning drop in or comforting brunch spot, an engaging space to visit friends or meet with business associates, and a relaxing locale for an after work drink and snack.

At Corner Market, there is something for everyone.

location

The Halloren Building

Corner Market is housed in the historic Halloren building at 401 South Main Street in Ottawa, Kansas. Constructed in 1923 as a factory, the building has served many functions throughout the years, including a grocery store and a gas station.

In 2018,Ottawa resident and owner of Loyd Builders, Josh Walker, purchased the building and began an arduous and careful remodel to restore it as a multi-purpose use building for Corner Market and small businesses seeking a high quality, historically respectful and modern space.
